Learning Environment
There is something intangible that makes up the ambiance of a school classroom. Whether it’s that distinct aroma of art supplies wafting through the air or the colorful display of student workmanship hanging on the walls – The sound of childhood excitement and singing or the feeling of mystery and wonder. What ever it is, all these things all bubble up from our goal to enable each one of our “Ambassadors” to achieve their potential in all areas of study, while blossoming in the subjects where their God given talents shine brightest.
So, how do we reach this goal?
Each day we strive to create a Christ-centered and loving, but challenging learning environment. Small student to teacher/instructor ratios are also one of the keys to our success. Currently at ACS, our class sizes are less than 10 students which allows our teachers, instructors and volunteers to target and build up the unique gifts of each pupil, offering them support and direction as they take up their task of learning the broad and balanced curriculum together.
Above all, scripture reading and prayer is the conversation that guides each day as we work side-by-side in God’s Kingdom.
